Terms & Conditions
Cancellation Policy:
If cancelling 10 days prior to arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total
If cancelling 21 days prior to arrival, forfeit 50% of the booking total
If cancelling 30 days prior to arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit
If cancelling 60 days prior to arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit
If cancelling 90 days prior to arrival, forfeit 10% of the deposit
If cancelling 90 days plus prior to arrival, forfeit a set amount of R 1000.00
Please note – A R 1000.00 admin fee will be charged in addition to cancellation policy on all cancellations.
Deposit Payment:
We request 50% of the invoice amount, within 24 hours, to secure the booking.
No booking will be confirmed or accepted until payment is made.
The outstanding amount to be paid at the latest 10 days prior to date of arrival. In the case of a Peak Season booking (December, January & Easter) final payment is required 1 month prior to date of arrival.
Breakage Deposit:
The following refundable breakage deposit is payable with the deposit prior to arrival:
4 – 10 Sleeper unit: R2 500
16 Sleeper unit: R5 000
Breakage deposits will be refunded within 10 business days after check-out, should everything be in order.
An additional service fee of R 500 for 4-8 sleepers and R 750 for 9+ sleepers is payable with deposit prior to arrival.
Please forward banking details to Langebaan Beach Accommodation prior to arrival.
The breakage deposit will be forfeited in the following instances:
If more people than the house accommodates are found to be stay at the house.
If extensive cleaning is required upon departure;
If there are any traces, signs or smells indicating that there was smoking in the property;
If Langebaan Beach Accommodation becomes aware of any act of misbehavior, loud music, disruption to the neighbours and/or property. This also applies to situations where Langebaan Beach Accommodation is informed of misbehaviour after the guests have vacated the premises;
If the windows and/or doors are left open after departure;
If any item is missing, broken or damaged, the replacement value will be subtracted from the deposit;
If there are stains on the linen, the linen will be replaced and the costs will be subtracted from the deposit;
The following substances are likely to leave stains on linen (this may not be a full and complete list): Blood, mascara, make-up foundation, nail varnish, red wine, self tanning or quick tanning lotion, and suntan oils;
Any cost incurred to rectify the property by Langebaan Beach Accommodation after the stay will be subtracted from the breakage deposit, e.g. should extra heavy cleaning be required, or if excessive dirty dishes are left.
Any lost keys or keys not returned will result in locks & keys being replaced and the guest held accountable for such charges. This is in the interest of security.
Should such damage or loss be more than the breakage deposit, you will forfeit your deposit and still be liable for the balance of such loss and/or damage. We reserve the right to proceed with legal action without notice.
House Rules:
No pets
No smoking
No noise permitted
No parties or events
No spit-braais
To avoid additional cleaning fees, please leave the property in the same condition as it was found
No Bachelor / Bachelorette Parties permitted
Check-in time is 3PM - 7PM
Check out by 10AM
Late arrivals will be charged at R250 per hour or part therefore, up until 21:00, payable in cash on arrival. No check ins will be done after 21:00 and you will be considered a no show.
As all our properties are residential homes we appreciate your respect to the property as well as the neighbours, therefore we do not permit loud parties or disruption to the neighbourhood or the home in any way.
Right of admission is reserved on all our properties.
Langebaan Beach Accommodation agrees not to disclose any information on any of their clients.
In no event will Langebaan Beach Accommodation be liable for any injury to persons, any fatality or damage to property on the premises. Langebaan Beach Accommodation's liability will be limited to the contract price for the services.
